Atlanta Capitals
The Atlanta Capitals are an American Tier III ice hockey team in the North American 3 Hockey League's South Division. The team's home arena is the Atlanta IceForum in Duluth, Georgia. History The franchise was established in 2013 as the Topeka Capitals and played two seasons out of the 7,777-seat Landon Arena. Led by GM/head coach Anthony Bohn, the Capitals captured the South Division title in their first season. After three seasons with the Capitals Bohn would move on to the Aberdeen Wings (NAHL) as an assistant. In 2018 Bohn was named assistant coach of the Maine Mariners of the ECHL. In 2020 Bohn was named head coach of the Danbury Hat Tricks (FPHL), but the Hat Tricks sat out the season due to COVID-19 restrictions. Bohn moved back to the NAHL in 2021 as the first head coach of the new El Paso Rhinos. With stalled negotiations for a lease renewal, team owner, Don Stone moved to the Atlanta, Georgia, metro area in 2015 to meet the league deadline for a confirmed facility. ...

El Paso Rhinos
The El Paso Rhinos are a junior ice hockey organization based in El Paso, Texas. Their home games are played at the County Events Center located within the El Paso County Coliseum complex. The Rhinos are members of the South Division of the Tier II junior North American Hockey League (NAHL). The organization was originally a member of the Amateur Athletic Union-sanctioned Western States Hockey League from 2006 to 2020. They also played in the NA3HL From 2020-2021 before joining the NAHL South Division. History In 2006, retired former El Paso Buzzards professional hockey player Cory Herman founded the El Paso Rhinos. History Established in 2013 as the Dallas Jr. Stars, the club entered the league to form a South Division along with the Topeka Capitals and Sugar Land Imperials. After a second place finish in their inaugural regular season, the Jr. Stars (16–22–2) went on a playoff run that ended in the Silver Cup Finals. A first round series sweep against third place Sugar Land Imperials earned a spot in the division finals against Topeka Capitals. The Granite City Lumberjacks are a Tier III Junior A ice hockey team playing in the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) and plays their home games at the Armadillo Deck Sports Arena, located in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota. The Lumberjacks play 48 regular season games, in addition to showcase and post-season tournament games. History The team was founded in 2007 as a member of the Minnesota Junior Hockey League (MnJHL). The Metro Jets are a non-sanctioned junior ice hockey team that plays their home games at Mount Clemens Ice Arena in Mount Clemens, Michigan. They are members of the Great Lakes Conference in the United States Premier Hockey League's Premier Division.
