Atlanta (singer)
Elena Puidokaitė (better known by her stage name Atlanta; born 5 April 1981) is a Lithuanian pop singer. She made her debut in 1998, when the music manager Martynas Tyla offered her to join the new band "Cushions". Their most successful hit "Winter" was recorded with Atlanta. Atlanta's first two solo's, "Never" and new version of Lemon Joy song "White City" were recorded in “Zymozek Sonic” studio with Algis Drėma's help. Also that group singer Igoris Kofas created the first hit "And Girls want to love" music. Atlanta debuted with album “Girls want to love” in August 2001. She created a new version of old song "Swallows, swallows" with Andrius Mamontovas, when the second album "The wind told me" has just appeared. Lithuanians ( lt, lietuviai) are a Baltic ethnic group. They are native to Lithuania, where they number around 2,378,118 people. Another million or two make up the Lithuanian diaspora, largely found in countries such as the United States, United Kingdom, Brazil, Russia, and Canada. Their native language is Lithuanian, one of only two surviving members of the Baltic language family along with Latvian. Pop music is a genre of popular music that originated in its modern form during the mid-1950s in the United States and the United Kingdom. Andrius Mamontovas
Andrius Mamontovas (born 23 August 1967) is a Lithuanian rock musician. He is also a songwriter, actor, performer and record producer. He was one of the co-founders of the Lithuanian rock band Foje and the initiator of the LT United project. Personal life His father was Russian and mother Lithuanian. Since 1993, he has been a vegetarian. Career In 1983, Andrius Mamontovas began his musical quest by forming Foje, one of the most popular bands in Lithuania. From 1983 until 1997 the band released 14 successful albums and won every possible music award along with the national acclaim. Among their many accomplishments, Foje toured European and American clubs, and at the last show held in Vilnius, with an audience of 60,000. This farewell performance still holds the all-time record in Lithuania. Stano (singer)
Stano (born Stanislav Stavitsky, russian: Станислав Ставицкий, lt, Stanislavas Stavickis; 25 November 1981) is a Russian-Lithuanian singer, songwriter, and author. He is the frontman of the musical group Delfinai. Stavickis has also written two novels, autobiographical ''Kiek kainuoja ilgesys'' (How Much Does Longing Cost, 2004), and ''Neįtikėtinos istorijos'' (Unbelievable Stories, 2008). Stavickis was born to a Russian mother and a Lithuanian father. He came to Lithuania in 1992 to study at the Vilnius Secondary School "Lietuvių namai" (now known as Vilnius lietuvių namai), designed for students of Lithuanian heritage from foreign countries. Here he met Viačeslavas Saninas (DJ Sweetas, keyboard) and they established band called Delfinai (dolphins) in 2000. Their debut album ''Svajonės'' (Dreams) sold 11,000 copies in nine days and was certified gold.
