The men's discus throw at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, as part of the athletics programme, took place in the Carrara Stadium on 12 and 13 April 2018. Carrara Stadium
Carrara Stadium (known commercially as Metricon Stadium) is a stadium on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia, located in the suburb of Carrara. The stadium is primarily used for Australian rules football, serving as the home ground of the Gold Coast Suns, who compete in the Australian Football League. In addition, the venue is used occasionally for cricket, including Big Bash League matches. Carrara Stadium received substantial redevelopment work prior to the entry of the Brisbane Bears to the VFL/AFL in 1987, but following the Bears relocation to the Gabba in 1993, it was used for other sports including rugby league, rugby union and even baseball. Andreas Christou is a political and social figure in the Republic of Cyprus. Early life Christou was born in Limassol in 1948. He graduated from Laniteion Gymnasium. Moustapha Fall (born 23 February 1992) is a French professional basketball player for Olympiacos of the Greek Basket League and the EuroLeague. Standing at 2.18 m (7 ft 2 in), Fall plays at the center position. Professional career Fall played in the French League from 2011 to 2017. Alexander Melei Rose (born 17 November 1991) is a Samoan-American athlete, competing primarily in the discus throw and occasionally in the shot put and the hammer throw. He represented Samoa at the 2016 Olympics, and 2020 Summer Olympics, as well as the Commonwealth Games and Pacific Games. Stephen Ogochukwu Mozia (born August 16, 1993) is a US-born Nigerian shot putter. He is a three-time African Championships Bronze medallist. He also represented his country at the 2014 and 2016 World Indoor Championships, as well as the 2016 Summer Olympics. Benn Harradine
Benn Harradine (born 14 October 1982) is a retired Australian discus thrower who competed at three consecutive Olympic Games, starting in 2008. Harradine made the final of the discus at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne where he finished eighth. He went on to win the 2010 Commonwealth title. His 5th-place finish at the 2011 World Championships is the best ever finish by an Australian man in the event.
