Athletics At The 2013 Southeast Asian Games
At the 2013 Southeast Asian Games, the athletics events took place in Naypyidaw, Myanmar. The track and field events took place at the Wunna Theikdi Stadium. The competition held between December 15–19. Thailand retained its traditional position as the nation with the most gold medals with seventeen among its 39 medals. Vietnam was comfortably the next strongest performer with ten golds in its 33-medal haul. Indonesia was third with six gold medals and a total of seventeen. The Philippines also won six golds, and its total of 13 medals was matched by Malaysia and the hosts Myanmar. Eight of the eleven participating countries reached the medal table. A total of eight games records were bettered at the competition. Wunna Theikdi Stadium
Wunna Theikdi Stadium ( my, ဝဏ္ဏသိဒ္ဒိ အားကစားကွင်း) is a multi-use stadium in Naypyidaw, Myanmar. It can seat 30,000 spectators. The stadium hosted the 2013 Southeast Asian Games and 2014 ASEAN Para Games opening and closing ceremonies. In addition, it hosted the events of 2015 National Sports Festival and 2018 ASEAN University Games. Currently, it is hosting state and region sports competitions. There are offices of Myanmar Olympic Committee and Department of Youth Affairs of Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs. Maria Natalia Londa
Maria Natalia Londa (born 29 October 1990 in Denpasar) is an Indonesian track and field athlete who competes in the long jump and triple jump. She represented Indonesia at the World Championships in Athletics in 2007 and has appeared once at the Asian Games (2014). She won the gold medal at the 2014 Asian Games in the long jump. Pole vaulting, also known as pole jumping, is a track and field event in which an athlete uses a long and flexible pole, usually made from fiberglass or carbon fiber, as an aid to jump over a bar.
