Athina Sat
Athina Sat was a Cypriot digital satellite pay television service owned by the limited company of the same name. Launched in May 2005 and was the first Cypriot-owned DTH satellite provider in Cyprus. It was one of two satellite platforms, the other being Nova. Athina Sat offered Cypriot subscribers an array of programming choices from News, Sports, Movies, Children's, Entertainment as well as popular Cypriot TV networks. In March 2008 Athinsat decided to shut its doors due to the loss of several channels, including popular Cypriot networks LTV, and Alfa TV, which re-signed with Nova. M2 (Ukraine)
M2 — is a Ukrainian music television channel. M2 belongs to media holding Starlight Media, which also comprises channels ICTV, STB, Novyi Kanal, M1 and QTV. The channel began broadcasting in 2007. Action 24 is a private regional television channel whose facilities are located in the area of Marousi. It broadcasts terrestrial digital from 14 broadcast centers in Attica and Evia and satellite via the subscription platforms of Nova and Cosmote TV. Skai TV (Greek: ΣΚΑΪ) is a Greek free-to-air television network based in Piraeus. It is part of the Skai Group, one of the largest media groups in the country. It was relaunched in its present form on 1 April 2006 in the Athens metropolitan area, and gradually spread its coverage nationwide. Besides digital terrestrial transmission, it is available on the subscription-based encrypted services of Nova and Cosmote TV. Skai TV is also a member of Digea, a consortium of private television networks introducing digital terrestrial transmission in Greece. Sigma TV is a commercial network in Cyprus that commenced broadcasting on April 3, 1995. It is a private service and is currently the first-rated channel in Cyprus. Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation ( gr, Ραδιοφωνικό Ίδρυμα Κύπρου , tr, Kıbrıs Radyo Yayın Kurumu), or CyBC (ΡΙΚ, KRYK), is Cyprus' public broadcasting service. Lumiere TV
Lumiere TV (LTV) was a former pay television service based in Cyprus and broadcast in more than 67 European and African countries. It broadcast movies, series, documentaries and social TV shows. It was owned by LTV Group Ltd. Availability Repeaters had been set up across 67 countries that enabled more than 80% of the population to receive these services. Lumiere TV was originally available on the Nova platform but following a financial dispute, it moved over to rival Athina Sat in July 2006. As of March 3, 2008, LTV was once again available through Nova, following a new agreement that was signed between the two companies. ERT World
ERT World (formerly ERT SAT) is a Greek free-to-air television channel owned and operated by state-owned public broadcaster Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation ( el, EPT – Ελληνική Ραδιοφωνία Τηλεόραση). It is the corporation's international television service, and its programming includes a mix of news, discussion-based programmes, drama, documentaries, entertainment shows as well as sports coverage including live games from Greece's top football league, Super League Greece. Alfa TV
Alfa TV was a former pay television service available in Cyprus, that broadcast sports and children's programming as well as the odd film. It was owned by Alfa TV Ltd. and was launched in 1998. Alfa TV was one of only 2 pay-TV services in Cyprus, the other being Lumiere TV with whom Alfa TV had a programming agreement. Some of the programs on Alfa TV were broadcast incorporation with well-known pay-TV channels, and specifically with those of MultiChoice (CineMagic, SuperSport and K-T.V.). It was broadcast over the air, together with Lumiere TV, on several platforms, like CytaVision, with an extra fee. 902 TV was a television station in Greece that was supported by the Communist Party of Greece. It featured general entertainment programming and was available throughout Greece. On September 10, 2012, ceased operations due to financial difficulties as well as the high costs involved in converting from analogue to digital. On March 2, 2013, starts broadcasting again via Digea. On 11 August 2013, the television station along with the relevant broadcast license was sold by the party to a private company called A-Horizon Media Ltd, and hence no longer has any affiliation to the party.
