Athene Moss
FK Athene Moss was a Norwegian women's football club from Moss. It is named after Athena in Greek mythology. It was founded in 1996, replacing SK Sprint-Jeløy which was a former successful club from Moss. Athene Moss played in the Toppserien until 2001, when it was relegated. The club was later disbanded, but resurfaced on 1 January 2006, fielding teams on youth level. Athene Moss and SK Rapid fielded a cooperative women-team in 2010, and on 11 February 2011 the two clubs merged to form ''Rapid Athene'', and the old clubs ceased to exist. Marianne Iren Pettersen (born 12 April 1975 in Oslo) is a Norway, Norwegian Association football, footballer. Christine Colombo Nilsen (married Hajo, born 30 April 1982) is a retired Norwegian football goalkeeper. She currently (2012) plays for VÃ¥lerenga in the Toppserien. She is also a member of the Norway women's national football team. She has appeared nine times for the national team since her debut on March 11, 2006 in a match against Finland. Camilla Huse (born 31 August 1979) is a Norwegian former footballer. She made her debut on the Norway women's national football team in 2005. In the 2007 FIFA Women's World Cup in China, Huse played in all of the Norwegian team's matches — the team finished in fourth place behind USA, Brazil and Germany. Lise Klaveness (born 19 April 1981) is a Norwegian lawyer and former footballer who played 73 matches for Norway's national team between 2002 and 2011. She is currently the president of the Norwegian Football Federation. Since assuming her leadership role in March of 2022 Klaveness has advocated for change within Fifa, particularly as related to the upcoming 2022 World Cup in Qatar. In response to reports of harsh labor practices which led to the deaths of thousands of migrant workers, Klaveness pushed for safe conditions and fair pay for migrant workers. Ingvild Stensland (born 3 August 1981) is a former Norwegian footballer who, from August 2022, is one of the assistance coaches on Norway women's national team. As a player she last played for Stabæk FK in the Toppserien. She played as a midfielder and was a member of, and for several years also the captain of, the Norway women's national team, making her debut in 2003.
