Tarash ( bn, তাড়াশ) is an upazila of Sirajganj District in the Division of Rajshahi Division, Rajshahi, Bangladesh. Geography Tarash is located at . It has 26254 households and total area 297.2 km2. The upazila is bounded by Sherpur Upazila, Sherpur (Bogra District, Bogura) upazila on the north, Bhangura Upazila, Bhangura and Chatmohar upazilas on the south, Raiganj and Ullahpara upazilas on the east, Gurudaspur and Singra upazilas on the west. Sirajganj ( bn, সিরাজগঞ্জ) is a city in north-western Bangladesh on the right bank of the Jamuna River. It is the administrative headquarters of Sirajganj District, and with a population of 167,200 is the fourteenth most populous city in the country. It is about north west of the capital, Dhaka.
