Atatürk Museums In Turkey
This is a list of Atatürk Museums in Turkey. Most of these are historic buildings converted into museums, in which the founder of modern Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk (1881–1938), stayed during his visit to the location. Some are replicas of the houses, in which Atatürk stayed during his visits. There are also two Atatürk houses abroad. One is the Atatürk Museum (Thessaloniki) in which Atatürk spent his childhood in Thessaloniki, Greece. The other one is Sarmadzhiev House in Sofia in which Atatürk lived during his diplomatic mission to Bulgaria Bulgaria (; bg, България, Bǎlgariya), officially the Republic of Bulgaria,, ) is a country in Southeast Europe. It is situated on the eastern flank of the Balkans, and is bordered by Romania to the north, Serbia and North Macedon .... Bursa Atatürk Museum ( tr, Bursa Atatürk Evi Müzesi) is a historic house museum in Bursa, Turkey. The museum is at at Çekirge quarter of Osmangazi district in Bursa Province. İzmir Province ( tr, İzmir ili) is a province and metropolitan municipality of Turkey in western Anatolia, situated along the Aegean coast. The Izmir Atatürk Museum is a museum in İzmir, Turkey. Founded by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, a Turkish field marshal, revolutionary statesman, and the first president of Turkey, the Izmir Atatürk Museum opened to the public on 11 September 1941, on the 19th anniversary of Atatürk's arrival in Izmir. Atatürk Museum, Şişli
Atatürk Museum ( tr, Atatürk Müzesi) is a historic house museum dedicated to the life of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the first president of the Republic of Turkey. It is located in the district of Şişli, on the European side of Istanbul, Turkey. It is located in a three-storey house built in 1908. Mustafa Kemal rented the house after returning from the Syrian Front and lived there with his mother Zübeyde, sister Makbule and adopted son Abdurrahim. Florya Atatürk Marine Mansion
Florya Atatürk Marine Mansion, ( tr, Florya Atatürk Deniz Köşkü) is a historic presidential residence located offshore in the Sea of Marmara in the Florya neighborhood of the Bakırköy district in Istanbul, Turkey. It was built in 1935 by the municipality of Istanbul, for Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's recreational use. The building is a historic house museum today. Architecture Designed in the Bauhaus style by architect Seyfi Arkan, who was given the commission in 1935 by the municipality of Istanbul, the mansion was completed on August 14 the same year, and was gifted to Atatürk. Denizli Province ( tr, ) is a province of Turkey in Western Anatolia, on high ground above the Aegean coast.
