Atanas Zehirov
Atanas Zehirov ( bg, Атанас Зехиров; born 13 February 1989) is a Bulgarian professional footballer who plays as a right back and right winger for Arda Kardzhali. Career Early career Zehirov began his career with CSKA Sofia, but made only six league appearances with one goal and spent time on loan to Sliven 2000 before leaving the club in October 2010. He scored his first and last goal for the club against Lokomotiv Mezdra on 13 June 2009. On 31 January 2011, Zehirov signed as a free agent with Pirin Blagoevgrad, but made only one league appearance, as a substitute, before being released at the end of the season. In August 2011, Zehirov joined Norwegian side Hasle-Løren IL. Beroe On 7 February 2013, Zehirov signed a two-and-a-half-year deal with Beroe Stara Zagora. Kochan
Kochan ( bg, Кочан) is a village in Southwestern Bulgaria. It is located in Satovcha Municipality, Blagoevgrad Province. Geography The village of Kochan is located in mountainous region in southwestern Bulgaria some 10 km from the border with Greece in the Chech region. The village is surrounded by high peaks, the tallest of which is the ''Marashova Chuka'' at 1414 meters in elevation. A small river passes through the village, taking its source from a karst spring several kilometers north of the village. There are coniferous, deciduous and mixed type forests in the vicinity of Kochan. Birch forests dominate the lowest terrains. PFC Lokomotiv Mezdra
FC Lokomotiv Mezdra (ФК Локомотив Мездра) is a Bulgarian football club from the town of Mezdra, which currently playing in the Third League, the third tier of Bulgarian football. The club's home ground is the Lokomotiv Stadium in Mezdra, with a capacity of 5,000. Team colours are red and black. The club's nickname is "The Irons from Mezdra", due to the city of Mezdra's connections with the railroad industry. The club was originally founded in 1945. Lokomotiv saw little success for the majority of its history, usually competing in the second or third tiers of Bulgarian football. 2018 World Cup
The 2018 FIFA World Cup was the 21st FIFA World Cup, the quadrennial world championship for men's national football teams organized by FIFA. It took place in Russia from 14 June to 15 July 2018, after the country was awarded the hosting rights in 2010. It was the eleventh time the championships had been held in Europe, and the first time they were held in Eastern Europe. Ivaylo Bogdanov Petev ( bg, Ивайло Богданов Петев; born 9 July 1975) is a Bulgarian professional football manager and former player who is the head coach of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team. He spent his whole career playing in Bulgaria, a part from a season at Greek club Trikala. Petev was most successful early in his career with hometown club Litex Lovech. After finishing his playing career, he became a manager, managing and having the most success at Bulgarian club Ludogorets Razgrad. Petev also worked as a manager in Cyprus, Croatia, Saudi Arabia and Poland. He worked as head coach of the Bulgaria national team as well. FC Vitosha ( bg, ФК Витоша) is a Bulgarian association football club based in Bistritsa, Sofia City Province, which competes in the Second League, the second tier of Bulgarian football. It is named after the Vitosha mountain range, where Bistritsa is located. Vitosha was founded in 1958, however, the club spent the majority of its history playing in lower leagues. 2014–15 A Group
The 2014–15 A Group was the 91st season of the top division of the Bulgarian football league system, and 67th since a league format was adopted for the national competition of A Group as a top tier of the pyramid. The competition was divided in two phases - Regular season, with every team playing against every other team twice, and Playoffs, with teams divided into Championship group (top six) and Relegation group (bottom six) to determine the champions and the relegated teams, respectively. Ludogorets Razgrad entered the season as three-time defending champions, and succeeded to retain the title for a 4th consecutive and overall time 2 rounds before the end of the season, after their home win over Lokomotiv Sofia. FC Lyubimets ( bg, ФК Любимец) is a Bulgarian football club based in Lyubimets. The team was founded in 1921 and re-founded in 2007. They currently compete in the Bulgarian fourth tier, the Regional Football League of Haskovo. The club’s biggest achievement came in 2013, when Lyubimets managed to promote to the A Group for the first time in club history for the 2013–14 season.
