Asymmetry (Mallory Knox Album)
''Asymmetry'' is the second album by British rock band Mallory Knox. It was released on 27 October 2014 via Search and Destroy and Epic Records and was produced by Gil Norton. It is the band's first release after departing from A Wolf at Your Door Records. Asymmetry charted at no. 16 in the UK album charts in the first week of sales. Like their debut album, it was released to very high positive reviews from music critics. Background and composition The band signed to a major label and received "all the ability that gives you when it comes to writing and recording", according to vocalist Mikey Chapman. Despite having waited a year before releasing ''Signals'', the group did not write any new material. When the band began writing new compositions they were stuck writing unsatisfactory material for a few months. Mallory Knox were an English alternative rock band from Cambridge. In 2013, they released their debut album ''Signals'' which reached #33 in the UK album charts. Their second album '' Asymmetry'' was released on 27 October 2014 and reached #16 on UK Album Chart. They later released their third album ''Wired'' on 10 March 2017. Their fourth record, ''Mallory Knox'', was released on 16 August 2019, after which they announced a farewell tour. The Official Charts (legal name: The Official UK Charts Company Limited) is a British inter-professional organization that compiles various "official" record charts in the United Kingdom, Ireland and France. In the United Kingdom, its charts include ones for singles, albums and films, with the data compiled from a mixture of downloads, purchases (of physical media) and streaming. UK Albums Chart
The Official Albums Chart is a list of albums ranked by physical and digital sales and (from March 2015) audio streaming in the United Kingdom. It was published for the first time on 22 July 1956 and is compiled every week by the Official Charts Company (OCC) on Fridays (previously Sundays). It is broadcast on BBC Radio 1 (top 5) and found on the OCC website as a Top 100 or on UKChartsPlus as a Top 200, with positions continuing until all sales have been tracked in data only available to industry insiders. However, even though number 100 was classed as a hit album (as in the case of The Guinness Book of British Hit Albums) in the 1980s until January 1989, since the compilations were removed this definition was changed to Top 75 with follow-up books such as The Virgin Book of British Hit Albums book only including this data. Moose Blood were an English emo band based in Canterbury, Kent. They formed in 2012 and were signed to Hopeless Records. History Moose Blood formed in August 2012 and published a self-released demo, ''Bukowski Demo (Summer '12)'', in the same month. The group's line-up consisted of Eddy Brewerton on vocals and guitar, Mark E. Osbourne on guitar, Kyle Todd on bass and Glenn Harvey on drums. On 11 February 2013, an EP, '' Moving Home'', was released through Fist in the Air. "Boston" and "Orlando" were released together as a single through Venn Records on 26 April. Fort Hope are a British rock band formed in 2013 after the disbandment of electronic rock band My Passion in 2012. Frank Anthony Iero, Jr. (, born October 31, 1981) is an American musician who is the rhythm guitarist and backup vocalist of the rock band My Chemical Romance and post-hardcore band Leathermouth.
