Aswan Sporting Club ( ar, نادي أسوان الرياضي), commonly referred to as Aswan, is an Egyptian football club based in Aswan, Egypt. The club currently plays in the Egyptian Premier League, the highest league in the Egyptian football league system. Aswan was founded on 1 January 1930. It's the biggest team in town, and its opponent is the Al Nasr Lel Taa'den. History Aswan played a total of eleven seasons in the Egyptian Premier League in its history. The team first appeared in the Premier league in the 1990–91 season. The longest spell the team spent in the Premier league was for only three consecutive seasons (from 1996–97 to 1998–99). Samir Ibrahim Kamouna ( ar, سمير كمونة; born 2 April 1972) is an Egyptian football coach and former player who manages El Minya SC. A former defender, he played for the Egypt national team. Club career Kamouna had a spell in German Bundesliga with 1. FC Kaiserslautern, and in the Turkish Super Lig with Bursaspor. His best performance in Egypt was while playing for Al Ahly. El Gouna Football Club ( ar, نادي الجونة لكرة القدم), is an Egyptian association football club based in El Gouna, Hurghada, Egypt. The club currently plays in the Egyptian Premier League, the highest league in the Egyptian football league system. History The club's first league season was in the Egyptian Fourth Division in 2003–04, where they achieved their first title and secured the promotion to the Egyptian Third Division.
