Astur Club de Fútbol is a Spanish football team based in Oviedo, in the autonomous community of Asturias. Founded in 1923 and later re-founded in 1949, it plays in Tercera División – Group 2, holding home matches at '' Estadio Hermanos Llana'', which has a capacity of 2,000 spectators. History In 2003, Astur CF changed its name to Oviedo Astur Club de Fútbol (more commonly known as Oviedo ACF) and its colours to a blue shirt and white shorts, with the aim to substitute Real Oviedo, in that year relegated to Segunda División B and weeks later to Tercera División by financial debts. After four seasons where Oviedo ACF played one time the promotion playoffs to Segunda División B, in 2007 the club decided to come back to the classical colours and denomination Astur CF. Enzo Ferrero
Enzo Ferrero (born January 3, 1953 in Campana) is a retired Argentine footballer who played for Boca Juniors in Argentina and Sporting de Gijón in Spain. Ferrero started his professional playing career on September 9, 1971 in a 3–0 win over Los Andes. He went on to play 169 times for Boca Juniors scoring 39 goals. He played for the Argentina youth team in 1972 and made his debut for the Argentina national team in 1974. In 1975, Ferrero joined Spanish side Sporting de Gijón where he became an idol, he played for the club until his retirement in 1985. Melendi
Ramón Melendi Espina (born 21 January 1979), known as Melendi, is a Spanish singer-songwriter. His specialties are rock, flamenco, and rumba styles. Early life He was born in Oviedo, Asturias. He went to class with Formula One race car driver Fernando Alonso, to whom he dedicated the song "Magic Alonso". He also did racing for a while but he realized very quickly that he was not made for racing nor studying, but he was good at football. He played in the lower ranks of Astur CF, at the time a reserve team for Real Oviedo. Afterwards, he worked as a waiter in several bars and spent all night out, living experiences that would later go on to make up the lyrics of his songs. In 2001, he joined a group called "El bosque de Sherwood", and soon after recorded a demo with only three songs, "Sin noticias de Holanda", "El informe del forense", and "Vuelvo a traficar". Alberto Martínez Díaz (born 27 October 1962), known as Berto (), is a Spanish former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career Born in Lugo, Galicia, Berto's career was mainly associated to Real Oviedo for which he played 15 seasons, appearing in a team-best 512 official matches. He signed in 1984 from Asturias neighbours Caudal Deportivo in the lower leagues, and spent his first four years in the Segunda División, promoting to La Liga in 1988.
