Astrid Fodor
Astrid Cora Fodor (born 6 November 1953) is a Romanian politician of Transylvanian Saxons, Transylvanian Saxon ethnicity. Between 2008 and 2014, she was the Deputy Mayor of Sibiu (german: Hermannstadt), and since 2 December 2014 she has been the mayor of the town, initially ad interim as Klaus Iohannis left office for the President of Romania, Romanian presidency after winning the 2014 Romanian presidential election, then elected by the vast majority of the municipal councillors in 2014, and subsequently by popular vote at the 2016 Romanian local elections, 2016 and 2020 Romanian local elections. Education and professional activity Fodor is a graduate of the Faculty of Administrative Law in Sibiu. From 1978 to 2000 she worked at the "Libertatea" fabric factory, where she performed various functions, eventually that of the commercial manager. Sibiu

The National Liberal Party ( ro, Partidul Național Liberal, PNL) is a liberal-conservative political party in Romania (and the second largest overall political party in the country as of 2022). Re-founded in mid January 1990, shortly after the Revolution of 1989 which culminated in the fall of communism in Romania, it claims the legacy of the major political party of the same name, active between 1875 and 1947 in the Kingdom of Romania. Roșia (german: Rothberg; hu, Veresmart) is a Commune in Romania, commune located in Sibiu County, Transylvania, Romania. It is composed of six villages: Cașolț, Cornățel, Daia (formerly ''Daia Săsească''), Nou, Nucet, and Roșia. The commune is located in the central part of the county, east of the county seat, Sibiu. Roșia village is the site of Roșia fortified church. History In 1910, the Agnita to Sibiu railway line was completed, with stations at Roșia railway station, Roșia, Cașolț railway station, Cașolț and Cornățel railway station, Cornățel; the line was closed in 2001. Mediaș (; german: Mediasch, Transylvanian Saxon: ''Medwesch''/''Medveš'', hu, Medgyes) is the second largest town in Sibiu County, Transylvania, Romania. Geographic location Mediaș is located in the middle basin of Târnava Mare River, at from Sighișoara and from Blaj. The health resort Bazna, officially recognized for the first time in 1302, is from Mediaș.
