Astrid Carolina Herrera Irazábal (born June 23, 1963) is a Venezuelan actress and beauty queen. She won the 1984 Miss World pageant, held in London, United Kingdom, becoming the third woman from her country to win the title. Biography Astrid Carolina Herrera Irazábal was born on June 23, 1963, in Yaracuy, Venezuela. She is the third daughter of David Herrera and Odelia Irazábal. She has three sisters and one brother. San Felipe (Spanish: ''San Felipe'') () is the capital city of Yaracuy, Venezuela. The city is an important urban, industrial, commercial and transportation center of Venezuela. Producciones JES is a Colombian ''programadora''. It was founded in 1964. The name was based on the founder's initials; Producciones Julio Enrique Sánchez. History Among the programs Producciones JES carried were cartoons, foreign programs and (most importantly) the Academy Awards, Miss Universe and Grammy Awards. JES still produces the former for RCN.
