''Asterostomella'' is a genus of fungi in the Asterinaceae family. The relationship of this taxon to other taxa within the class (biology), class is unknown (''incertae sedis''), and it has not yet been placed with certainty into any order (biology), order. They are leaf parasites. Such as ''Asterostomella miliusae'' is found on ''Miliusa tomentosa'' plants in India as a type of 'black mildew'. It is found in South America (including Brazil and Argentina), Africa and parts of Asia. Including the Philippine Islands.
