Adele Astaire Douglass (born Adele Marie Austerlitz, later known as Lady Charles Cavendish; September 10, 1896 – January 25, 1981), was an American dancer, stage actress, and singer. Simon Jack Astaire (born 1961) is a novelist, screenwriter, media advisor, film producer. Early life Astaire is the son of stockbroker Edgar Astaire and his former wife interior designer Lesley (née Berman), who was subsequently the first wife of artist Bill Jacklin. Astaire (horse)
Astaire (19 April 2011 – 9 August 2015) was an Irish-bred, British-trained Thoroughbred racehorse who was mainly campaigned over sprint distances. He produced his best performance as a juvenile in 2013 when he won four of his five races including the Gimcrack Stakes and Middle Park Stakes. He failed to win in the following year but came back to form in the early part of 2015 when he won the Abernant Stakes and finished third in the Diamond Jubilee Stakes. He died of colic in August that year. Background Astaire was a bay colt with a white star bred in by John O'Connor at the Ballylinch Stud in County Kilkenny. Blondfire is an American indie pop band from Los Angeles, California, United States. It started as a duo of brother and sister Bruce and Erica Driscoll, under the name Astaire, and since 2015 has been a solo act with Erica Driscoll. Early life Erica Driscoll was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States to an American father and a Brazilian mother. She spent many summers in northern Brazil, and is a citizen of both countries. Erica and her brother and founding member Bruce Driscoll cite Antonio Carlos Jobim, Caetano Veloso, and Astrud Gilberto as musicians that they listened to often while growing up.
