The Association Paris Saint-Germain Football, Association loi 1901, commonly known as Association Paris Saint-Germain, or simply Association PSG, is a nonprofit organization based in Île-de-France (Paris Region), France. Founded in 1970, the Association manages the amateur section of French professional football clubs Paris Saint-Germain Football Club (men's team) and Paris Saint-Germain Féminine (women's team). The club's amateur section includes the youngest high-level players of the Paris Saint-Germain Academy as well as the amateur teams who play in the Paris Region. Hence, almost all PSG footballers except the two professional teams (men and women) are under the supervision of the Association. It also handled the male squad before PSG became a professional sport limited company in 1991. Camp Des Loges
The Camp des Loges, also known as Ooredoo Training Centre for sponsorship reasons, located in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, is the training ground of French football club Paris Saint-Germain. The current version of the Camp des Loges opened in November 2008. It is the second to have been built on the site, the first opening its doors in 1904. Development The first Camp des Loges opened in June 1904. Originally, it was a military camp reserved for soldiers of the French Army. In 1970, following the merger of Paris FC and Stade Saint-Germain to form Paris Saint-Germain, it became the club's training ground. The venue also turned into the training facilities of the Paris Saint-Germain Academy when it opened in 1975. Paris Football Club (), commonly referred to as Paris FC or simply PFC, is a French professional football club based in Paris, that competes in the Ligue 2, the second tier of French football. Paris FC play their home matches at the Stade Charléty, which is located in the 13th arrondissement of Paris. Founded in 1969, the club merged with Stade Saint-Germain to form Paris Saint-Germain in 1970. In 1972, the club split from Paris Saint-Germain resulting in the current Paris FC. Unlike its counterpart, which has gone on to establish a solid foundation, Paris FC has struggled to establish itself, having spent the majority of its existence playing in the amateur divisions. The Coupe de France, formerly known as the Coupe Charles Simon, is the premier knockout cup competition in French football organized by the French Football Federation (FFF). It was first held in 1917 and is open to all amateur and professional football clubs in France, including clubs based in the overseas departments and territories. Ligue 1, officially known as Ligue 1 Uber Eats for sponsorship reasons, is a French professional league for men's association football clubs. At the top of the French football league system, it is the country's primary football competition.
