Asian Institute Of Technology Ground
The Asian Institute of Technology Ground is a University ground in Bangkok, Thailand. The ground is owned by the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT). The AIT field is one of the three cricket fields in Thailand where Thailand Cricket League matches are played. The AIT Cricket Team has also won the Bangkok Cricket League 'A' Division two times during the past three years. It also boasts of a 9-hole golf course and a swimming pool. The self-contained campus also offers facilities including badminton, takraw, table tennis, tennis, basketball, cricket, volleyball and swimming. In 2015, the Asian Institute of Technology Ground was named one of the host of Women's World Twenty20 Qualifier along with Thailand Cricket Ground. The Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), founded in 1959, is an Intergovernmental organization, international organization for higher education situated 40km north of Bangkok, Thailand. It specializes in engineering, technology, advanced technologies, sustainable development, and management, management and planning. 2015 ICC Women's World Twenty20 Qualifier
The 2015 ICC Women's World Twenty20 Qualifier was an international women's cricket tournament held in Thailand from 28 November to 5 December 2015. It was the second edition of the Women's World Twenty20 Qualifier. Eight teams contested the tournament, with the hosts, Thailand, being joined by the bottom two teams from the 2014 World Twenty20 and five regional qualifiers. Ireland defeated Bangladesh in the final by two wickets, with both teams qualifying for the 2016 World Twenty20 tournament in India. Bangladesh's Rumana Ahmed was the player of the tournament and was the leading wicket-taker, while Ireland's Cecelia Joyce led the tournament in runs. Thailand Cricket Ground or Terdthai Cricket Ground is a college ground in Lat Krabang district, Bangkok, Thailand. The Terdthai Cricket Ground (TCG) in Thailand is where Thailand Cricket League matches are played. In 2015, TCG was named as one of the hosts venues of the 2015 ICC Women's World Twenty20 Qualifier, Women's World Twenty20 Qualifier's along with Asian Institute of Technology Ground. It also hosted the 2020 Asia Cup Qualifier#2020 ACC Eastern Region T20, 2020 ACC Eastern Region T20 qualifier between Thailand national cricket team, Thailand, Hong Kong national cricket team, Hong Kong, Malaysia national cricket team, Malaysia, Nepal national cricket team, Nepal and Singapore national cricket team, Singapore.
