Ashiqur Rahman
Ashiqur Rahman is a Bangladeshi television director, film maker, and screenwriter. He has directed five action films: ''Kistimaat'', ''Gangster Returns'', '' Musafir'', '' Operation Agneepath'' and '' Super Hero'' . He wrote all except ''Kistimaat''. Early life Ashiqur Rahman was born in Dhaka. He completed his Bachelor in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). Later Ashiqur Rahman graduated from University of Technology Sydney in Master of Civil and Environmental Engineering and from the University of Dhaka he completed Master in Television & Film Studies. Ashiqur Rahman is member of BFDC Cinematographers Association and Member of BFDC Film Directors Association. He is also a member of Australian Director Guild and Engineers Australia. Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, commonly known by the acronym BUET, is a public technological research university in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Founded in 1876 as the Dacca Survey School, it is the oldest institution for the study of engineering, architecture and urban planning in Bangladesh. Asian TV ( bn, এশিয়ান টিভি) is a Bangladeshi Bengali language satellite and cable television channel owned by the Asian Group of Industries. It began broadcasts on 18 January 2013, with the "Your Channel" slogan. It broadcasts a selection of general entertainment programming. History Asian TV was formed by businessman Harun-ur-Rashid, as part of his Asian Group of Industries, which also includes Asian Radio, Asian Textile, Asian Fabrics, and Asian Yarn Dyeing. The Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission granted the channel a license to broadcast in June 2011. The logo of Asian TV was unveiled at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon hotel in Dhaka on 20 June 2012. It launched on 18 January 2013, after months of test transmissions.
