The Asheville Championship is a two-day college basketball tournament held in Asheville, North Carolina, Asheville, NC at Harrah's Cherokee Center. The inaugural tournament took place during the opening week of the 2021–22 NCAA Division I men's basketball season, 2021–22 season, and aired on the ESPN family of networks. The Harrah's Cherokee Center - Asheville, previously known as the U.S. Cellular Center and originally as the Asheville Civic Center Complex, is a multipurpose entertainment center, located in Asheville, North Carolina. Opened in 1974, the complex is home to an arena, auditorium, banquet hall and meeting rooms.
