Ashan Priyanjan
Subasinghe Mudiyanselage Ashan Priyanjan (born 14 August 1989) is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer who plays for the national side in limited over formats. He is a middle-order batsman and occasionally a right-arm off break bowler. Personal life He was educated at Nalanda College Colombo and played cricket for the college first XI team from 2005 to 2008 and was the Vice Captain in 2008. He is married to his longtime partner Ama Rajapakse, where the wedding ceremony was celebrated on 30 May 2017 at Pegasis Hotel, Wattala. Domestic career After leaving school, Ashan played cricket for Bloomfield Cricket and Athletic Club, Combined Provinces, Ruhuna, Sri Lanka A cricket team, Sri Lanka Cricket Development XI, Sri Lanka Under-19s, Sri Lanka Under-20s School, Tamil Union Cricket and Athletic Club, Sri Lanka Board Presidents XI. 2010 South Asian Games
The 2010 South Asian Games, officially the XI South Asian Games, was a major multi-sport event that took place from 29 January to 8 February 2010 in Dhaka, Bangladesh. This was the third time that the Bangladeshi capital hosted the South Asian Games, thus becoming the first city to hold the games three times. Roughly 2000 athletes from eight countries competed at the games in 23 different sports. 2017–18 Super Four Provincial Tournament
The 2017–18 Super Four Provincial Tournament was a first-class cricket tournament, that was played in Sri Lanka during March and April 2018. It took place following the conclusion of the 2017–18 Premier League Tournament and featured four teams based on the Centers of Excellence in Sri Lanka. It was the first time this type of tournament has been played in Sri Lanka since 2013. Galle won the tournament, finishing ahead of Dambulla, despite Dambulla winning a game, with Galle drawing all their fixtures. 2016 Super Twenty20 Provincial Tournament
The 2016 Super T20 Provincial Tournament is the sixth edition of the Inter-Provincial Twenty20. The tournament featured a different format from previous seasons, featuring five teams, and was held between 26 January and 5 February 2016. Colombo Commandos won the tournament, defeat Galle Guardians in the final by 8 wickets. Format The Tournament will comprise 10 Round-robin matches plus the two semi-finals and the final. Hambantota Troopers
Hambantota Troopers cricket team is one of the five provincial cricket teams which make up the Sri Lankan domestic cricket structure representing mainly Hambantota District of Southern Province, Sri Lanka, and with some nearby provinces. In previous occasions, the province was included in to Southern Express and Ruhuna Reds, where part of them was combined in this season as Hambantota Troopers. The cricket team's first participation came during the Twenty20 competition known as the Inter-Provincial Twenty20 2016 season which was known as Super T20 Provincial Tournament. Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. The batting side scores runs by striking the ball bowled at one of the wickets with the bat and then running between the wickets, while the bowling and fielding side tries to prevent this (by preventing the ball from leaving the field, and getting the ball to either wicket) and dismiss each batter (so they are "out").
