Asha Patil (1936 – 18 January 2016) was an Indian actress of Marathi film, television and theatre. Regarded among the finest stage and film actresses of her times, Asha Patil was mostly known for portraying character roles of the Marathi Mother. She became famous for playing the character of "Aaye" (Mother) for veteran actor late Dada Kondke, including Tumcha Amcha Jamala, Bot Lavin Titha Gudgulya, Ram Ram Gangaram, Vajvu Ka, Palva palvi and Sasarch Dhotar. Rukadi
Rukadi is a village in Kolhapur district of the India, Indian state of Maharashtra. It is situated near Kolhapur-Sangli Highway about 413 kilometres (250 mi) from Mumbai, 19 km from Kolhapur, 11 km from Hatkanangle, 37 km from Sangli and 11 km from Ichalkaranji. Ex MP of Lok Sabha Balasaheb Mane was from Rukadi. Panchganga River, Panchganga river flows near Rukadi, which provides water to the village for drinking and irrigation. Demographics In 2023, the population is about 32,000. Infrastructure KMT(City Bus) and private Pulled rickshaw, rickshaws provide road transit. ''Ram Ram Gangaram'' is a 1977 Indian Marathi-language drama film directed and produced by Dada Kondke under the banner of Dada Kondke Productions. It stars Kondke himself with Usha Chavan, Ashok Saraf and Anjana Mumtaz. The music is composed by Raamlaxman, editing is by N. S. Vaidya and cinematography is handled by Arvind Lad. The film originally titled ''Gangaram Vis Kalmi'' reportedly made reference to Indira Gandhi's Twenty-Point Economic Programme during the The Emergency (India), Emergency, and the picture itself was meant to be a political satire. This may have contributed to the film's censoring issues. Under this new title, a partially reedited edition was released. Zee Marathi is an Indian general entertainment channel which carries programming in Marathi. It is owned by Zee Entertainment Enterprises. The channel was launched on 15 August 1999 and was known as Alpha TV Marathi until 28 March 2005, then it was renamed as Zee Marathi. It is the first Marathi GEC channel. A HD version of this channel, Zee Marathi HD, was launched on 20 November 2016. Karava () is a Sinhalese speaking ethnic group of Sri Lanka, whose ancestors from ancient times migrated from the Coromandel coast, claiming lineage to the Kaurava royalty of the old Kingdom of Kuru in Northern India.
