Asghar Zaidi
Asghar Zaidi () is a social policy analyst and population ageing researcher. He is the 4th and current Vice Chancellor and 31st head of the Government College University Lahore (GCU), serving since October 2019. Previously, he served as the Professor of Social Gerontology at Seoul National University, South Korea. Biography Asghar Zaidi attended the Government College University, Lahore (1981 to 1984) from where he obtained his bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics and Economics (First Division). He did his Master in Economics (1985–1987) from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. In 1988, he moved to Netherlands from where he obtained his master's degree in Development Studies (Economic Policy and Planning) with Distinction in Thesis from the International Institute of Social Studies. The Government College University, Lahore (colloquially known as GCU), is a public research university located in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. Opened as Government College, Lahore, in 1864, it became a university in 2002. Overview In 1864, Government College was established by the British government in India. A dynamic microsimulation pension model is a type of a pension model projecting a pension system by means of a microsimulation and generating the complete history of each individual in a data set. The results of such model offer both the aggregate (e.g. total replacement ratio, implicit debt) and individual indicators (e.g. individual cash-flows) of the pension system. Tony Atkinson
Sir Anthony Barnes Atkinson (4 September 1944 – 1 January 2017) was a British economist, Centennial Professor at the London School of Economics, and senior research fellow of Nuffield College, Oxford. A student of James Meade, Atkinson virtually single-handedly established the modern British field of inequality and poverty studies. He worked on inequality and poverty for over four decades.
