Asen Georgiev
Asen Georgiev (Bulgarian language, Bulgarian: Асен Георгиев; born 9 July 1993) is a Bulgarian professional Association football, footballer who plays as a Defender (association football), defender for SFC Etar Veliko Tarnovo, Etar Veliko Tarnovo. Career Georgiev started his career at PFC Levski Sofia, Levski Sofia. In September 2010, he was named on the bench for Levski in their UEFA Europa League, Europa League game against K.A.A. Gent. On 4 July 2012, Georgiev joined POFC Botev Vratsa, Botev Vratsa. He made his Bulgarian A Football Group, A Group debut in a 4–0 away loss against PFC Beroe Stara Zagora, Beroe Stara Zagora on 11 August. On 3 February 2017, Georgiev signed with PFC Beroe Stara Zagora, Beroe Stara Zagora. On 31 July 2017, his contract was terminated by mutual consent. Sofia
Sofia ( ; bg, София, Sofiya, ) is the capital and largest city of Bulgaria. It is situated in the Sofia Valley at the foot of the Vitosha mountain in the western parts of the country. 2018–19 Bulgarian Cup
The 2018−19 Bulgarian Cup was the 37th official edition of the Bulgarian annual football knockout tournament. The competition began on 25 September 2018 with the first round and finished with the final on 15 May 2019. Slavia Sofia were the defending champions, but lost on penalties in the round of 16 to Ludogorets Razgrad. The final was contested between Lokomotiv Plovdiv and Botev Plovdiv, thus being the first ever final to feature the Plovdiv derby. Lokomotiv won the final with the score of 1–0 and clinched their first ever cup title. They also qualified for the second qualifying round of the 2019–20 UEFA Europa League. The 2015–16 A Group was the 92nd season of the top division of the Bulgarian football league system, and 68th since a league format was adopted for the national competition of A Group as a top tier of the pyramid. The season has started on 17 July 2015 and is expected to end in May 2016. The league is contested by ten teams. Ludogorets Razgrad were the defending champions, and successfully defended the title after Levski Sofia's home loss against Lokomotiv Plovdiv in the 29th round. The title is Ludogorets' fifth consecutive and overall. The 2014–15 B Group was the 59th season of the Bulgarian B Football Group, the second tier of the Bulgarian football league system. Team changes from 2013–14 Movement between A PFG and B PFG At the end of last season the first two teams of the second division of Bulgarian football were promoted to the top division - A PFG. These were Marek Dupnitsa and Haskovo 2009. Bulgarian B Professional Football Group
The Bulgarian Second Professional Football League ( bg, Втора професионална футболна лига, Vtora Profesionalna Futbolna Liga), also known as Second League ( bg, Втора Лига) or Vtora liga, is the second level of the Bulgarian football league system, below First League and above the Third League. Sixteen teams take part in the league, each playing twice against all the other, once home and once away. Most matches are played on Saturdays and Sundays. The league is administered by the Bulgarian Professional Football League. In 2016, the B Group's name was rebranded to Second Professional Football League. The 2013–14 A Group was the 90th season of the top division of the Bulgarian football league system, and 66th since a league format was adopted for the national competition of A Group as a top tier of the pyramid. The season started on 19 July 2013 with the opening game between Chernomorets and Cherno More; the season ended on 18 May 2014 with the last game between Ludogorets Razgrad and Cherno More. For the first time after twelve years the competition was divided into two phases - Regular season, with every team playing against every other team twice, and Playoffs, with teams divided into Championship group (top seven) and Relegation group (bottom seven) to determine the champions and the relegated teams, respectively. The season began on 11 August 2012 and ended with the last games on 25 May 2013. Ludogorets Razgrad won the A Group title for a second consecutive season, after Levski were leading prior to the last round match, but made a draw with Slavia.
