Asako I & II
is a 2018 Japanese romance drama film directed by Ryūsuke Hamaguchi, starring Masahiro Higashide and Erika Karata. It was selected to compete for the Palme d'Or at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival. It is based on a 2010 novel by Tomoka Shibasaki about a woman who falls in love with two men who look the same but act completely differently. Plot Asako, a young woman who lives in Osaka, experiences love at first sight when she is confronted by the mysterious Baku. The two start a relationship against the advice from Asako's friend who only believes Baku will hurt her. After spending the night at Baku's place, Asako is awoken to find that he is missing. is a Japanese manga written and illustrated by Robico about the relationship between a girl named Shizuku Mizutani and a boy named Haru Yoshida. Asako Toki
is a Japanese singer-songwriter and lyricist. Born to jazz saxophonist Hidefumi Toki, she was the lead vocalist for the rock band Cymbals between 1997 and 2003. Following Cymbals' breakup, Toki began her solo career with the release of ''Standards'' in 2004 and made her major label debut under Avex's Rhythm Zone with ''Talkin'' in 2007. , also known as Asako Takakura-Takemoto or Asako Takemoto due to her marriage, is a Japanese football manager and former player. She played for Japan national team. Asako Hirabayashi
Asako Hirabayashi (born 1960) is a Japanese-American contemporary composer and harpsichordist. Early life and training Hirabayashi was born in Japan and began composing and playing piano at age 7. She graduated from college in Japan as a composition major. She encountered the harpsichord in Japan, and adopted it as a good fit for her small hands and her desire to play on rare instruments. She moved to the United States in order to study harpsichord performance and composition at the Juilliard School in the 1990s. She earned a doctorate degree from Juilliard writing a dissertation titled, "Ornamentation in the harpsichord music of William Byrd." was a Japanese journalist and culinary critic, best known for her role as a guest judge on Iron Chef Japan. Career Kishi was raised in Tokyo, and attended Kagawa Nutrition University. is a Japanese writer. She has won the All Yomimono Prize for New Writers and the Yamamoto Shūgorō Prize, she has been nominated multiple times for the Naoki Prize, and her novels have been adapted for television, radio, and film. Early life and education Yuzuki was born in Tokyo in 1981. During her early school years she read books by foreign authors, including Beverly Cleary's ''Ramona'' series, '' Anne of Green Gables'', and Judy Blume's young adult novels.
