Asaichi Isobe
was an Imperial Japanese Army officer who was one of the leaders of the February 26 Incident, 26 February Incident, a coup d'etat attempt by young officers of the Imperial Way Faction. Career Born in Yamaguchi Prefecture, Isobe graduated from the 38th class of the Imperial Japanese Army Academy and rose to the rank of lieutenant. He was suspended in 1934 for being involved in plans for a coup d'etat, and then discharged from the Army in 1935 when he published an incendiary pamphlet during his suspension. As a civilian, he was a leader in the February 26th Incident and was executed for his involvement. Sadao Nakajima
is a Japanese film director and screenwriter (born 8 August, 1934) known for his work in yakuza films and jidaigeki. Career Born in Chiba Prefecture, he attended Hibiya High School and then the University of Tokyo before joining the Tōei studio in 1959. Working at Tōei's Kyoto studio, he served as an assistant director under such directors as Masahiro Makino, Tadashi Imai, and Tomotaka Tasaka. He made his directorial debut in 1964 Kunoichi ninpō and won the Directors Guild of Japan New Directors Award in 1966 for '' Yakuza (893) gurentai'', the first gendaigeki shot at Tōei's Kyoto studio. He directed such popular film series as ''Kogarashi Monjirō'' and ''Nihon no don'', and also worked on television. was a Japanese film director. Born in Arasaka, Tokyo Prefecture, Gosha graduated from high school and served in the Imperial Navy during the Second World War. After earning a business degree at Meiji University, he joined Nippon television as a reporter in 1953. In 1957 he moved on to the newly founded Fuji Television and rose through the ranks as a producer and director. One of his television shows, the chambara ''Three Outlaw Samurai'', so impressed the heads of the Shochiku film studio that he was offered the chance to adapt it as a feature film in 1964. Following this film's financial success, he directed a string of equally successful chambara productions through the end of the 1960s.
