Asahi (October 19, 2002 – February 1, 2024) was a Japanese professional wrestler, best known for her tenure with Ice Ribbon and Actwres girl'Z, as well as the Joshi puroresu circuit in Japan. She made her debut for Ice Ribbon at the age of 14, at Korakuen Hall is a famous sports arena in Bunkyo, Tokyo, Japan, which has hosted many notable boxing, professional wrestling, kickboxing, mixed martial arts and Lethwei matches. History On April 16, 1962, the Korakuen Hall was officially opened with .... Asahi died suddenly on February 1, 2024 in an apparent car crash. Actwres girl'Z made the official announcement of her death on February 5, and cancelled a show scheduled for later that week on the February 9. Ice Ribbon
is a ''joshi puroresu'' (women's professional wrestling) professional wrestling promotion, promotion established in 2006 by Emi Sakura, after her split with Gatokunyan. History Ice Ribbon was founded by Emi Sakura, a professional wrestler who was active with International Wrestling Association of Japan, IWA Japan and Frontier Martial-Arts Wrestling, FMW in the 1990s as Emi Motokawa. They split with Gatokunyan, the promotion Sakura herself represented, and held their first card on June 20, 2006 in Tokyo. Ice Ribbon built their own dojo in Warabi, Saitama and gave ownership to a company called Neoplus in January 2009. Actwres girl'Z, is a Japanese independent women's professional wrestling promotion founded in 2015. The meaning of the "Actwres girl'Z" name is a combination of the words "wrestler" and "actress". History Actwres girl'Z was founded in 2015 under a similar concept to JDStar's "Athress" . The promotion's roster is currently made up mostly of Japanese idols and former Stardom wrestlers as well as other members of the entertainment industry. The promotion's first show was held on May 31, 2015 at Shin-Kiba 1st Ring. On August 7, 2016, former All Japan Women's Pro-Wrestling star Yumiko Hotta was appointed as an advisor. Korakuen Hall
is a famous sports arena in Bunkyo, Tokyo, Japan, which has hosted many notable boxing, professional wrestling, kickboxing, mixed martial arts and Lethwei matches. History On April 16, 1962, the Korakuen Hall was officially opened with a capacity of approximately 2,000 people. It is located inside the Tokyo Dome City, one of Tokyo's biggest attractions. The venue hosted the boxing events for the 1964 Summer Olympics. In the area of pro wrestling, it is considered the Madison Square Garden of puroresu, as all of Japan's largest promotions have run some of their larger shows inside the hall, much akin to the WWF/E's monthly show at MSG in the 1980s.
