Asadullāh ( ar, أَسَدُ ٱلله), also written Asadollah, Assadullah or Asad Ullah, is a male Muslim given name meaning ''Lion of Allah''. The name was initially used to refer to the Prophets and messengers in Islam, Islamic Prophet Muhammad's closest kinsmen Ali and Hamza ibn Abdul-Muttalib, Hamzah. List Of Afghan Detainees At Guantanamo Bay
According to the United States Department of Defense, it held more than two hundred Afghan detainees in Guantanamo prior to May 15, 2006. They had been captured and classified as enemy combatants in warfare following the US and allies' invasion of Afghanistan to overthrow the Taliban and disrupt terrorist networks. Originally, the US held such prisoners in sites in Afghanistan, but needed a facility to detain them where they could be interrogated. It opened the Guantanamo Bay detention camp on January 11, 2002, and transported the enemy combatants there. The United States Supreme Court's ruled in ''Rasul v. An Internment Serial Number (ISN) is an identification number assigned to captives who come under control of the United States Department of Defense (DoD) during armed conflicts. History On March 3, 2006, in compliance with a court order from District Judge Jed S. Rakoff, the DoD released 57 files that contained transcripts from the Guantanamo Bay inmates' Combatant Status Review Tribunals (CSRT) and Administrative Review Board hearings. These transcripts were only identified by the prisoners' ISNs.
