Arvind Chandrakant Patil (born 17 March 1968) is an Indian politician who was a member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly from Khanapur, Karnataka Assembly constituency from 2013 to 2018. He is also an Incumbent Director of The Belgaum District Central Co-Operative Bank. Personal life Arvind Chandrakant Patil was born at Nandgad in Khanapur. He is the son of Chandrakant Patil (father), who served as Mathematics teacher in the local school. He is a Hardworking Social Worker and an Inspiring leader. Political career In 2013, He won the 14th Karnataka Assembly by defeating Rafique Khatalsab Khanapuri of Indian National Congress. A Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) is a representative elected by the voters of an electoral district (constituency) to the legislature of State government in the Indian system of government. From each constituency, the people elect one representative who then becomes a member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA). Pramod Sawant (born 24 April 1973) is an Indian politician and the 11th and current Chief Minister of Goa.
