Artyom Gabrelyanov
Artyom Aramovich Gabrelyanov (born 9 February 1987) is a Russian entrepreneur, founder of Bubble Comics, screenwriter, journalist, producer, author of comics and graphic novels ''Major Grom'', ''Demonslayer'' and others. Biography Artyom Gabrelyanov was born in Ulyanovsk, in the family of Soviet journalists and Galina Kolesova. In 1996, he moved to Moscow with his family. He is the older brother of the Russian businessman Ashot Gabrelyanov. In 2009 he graduated from Moscow State University at the MSU Faculty of Journalism, Faculty of Journalism. By his own admission, he worked as a journalist since grade 11. He has written articles for Russian versions of ''FHM'' and ''Men’s Health'' magazines, as well as for Life (news agency, Russia), Life news agency and for the Spidermedia.ru site. Ulyanovsk, known until 1924 as Simbirsk, is a city and the administrative center of Ulyanovsk Oblast, Russia, located on the Volga River east of Moscow. Plague Doctor
A plague doctor was a physician who treated victims of bubonic plague during epidemics mainly in the 16th and 17th centuries. These physicians were hired by cities to treat infected patients regardless of income, especially the poor that could not afford to pay. Plague doctors had a mixed reputation, with some citizens seeing their presence as a warning to leave the area or that death was near. Some plague doctors were said to charge patients and their families additional fees for special treatments or false cures. In many cases these doctors were not experienced physicians or surgeons, instead being volunteers, second-rate doctors, or young doctors just starting a career. In one case, a plague doctor was a fruit salesman before his employment as a physician. ''Major Grom'' (russian: Майор Гром) is a 2017 Russian short action film directed by Vladimir Besedin, based on the comic character Major Grom. Plans to make a film were announced at Comic-Con Russia in October 2015, when Bubble Comics announced the creation of its own film division, Bubble Studios. The script was completed on 23 February 2016. The filming process began in mid-August in Saint Petersburg and continued until 28 August 2016.
