Artur Jorge (footballer, Born 1994)
Artur Jorge Marques Amorim (born 14 August 1994), known as Artur Jorge (), is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays for Emirati club Al Bataeh Club as a central defender. Formed at Braga, he made 94 Primeira Liga appearances, also representing Vitória de Setúbal and Moreirense. He also played top-flight football in Belgium, Romania, Cyprus and the United Arab Emirates. Club career Braga Born in Braga, Artur Jorge joined local S.C. Braga's youth system at the age of 10. He started playing as a senior with the B team, going on to spend several seasons with them in the Segunda Liga. Additionally, during 2014–15, he was loaned to Vilaverdense F.C. and S.C. Freamunde. Braga
Braga ( , ; cel-x-proto, Bracara) is a city and a municipality, capital of the northwestern Portuguese district of Braga and of the historical and cultural Minho Province. In sports, an ejection (also known as dismissal, sending-off, disqualification, or early shower) is the removal of a participant from a contest due to a violation of the sport's rules. 2019–20 Primeira Liga
The 2019–20 Primeira Liga (also known as Liga NOS for sponsorship reasons) was the 86th season of the Primeira Liga, the top professional league for Portuguese association football clubs. The season started on 9 August 2019 and was finished on 26 July 2020. Benfica were the defending champions, after winning their 37th league title in the previous season. Own Goal
An own goal, also called a self goal, is where a player performs actions that result in them or their team scoring a goal on themselves, often resulting in a point for the opposing team, such as when a football player kicks a ball into their own net or goal, awarding the other team a point. In some parts of the world, the term has become a metaphor for ''any'' action that backfires on the person or group undertaking it, sometimes even carrying a sense of "poetic justice". Digi Sport is a Romanian sports television that was launched on 23 July 2009, available only on the Digi TV platform. 2017–18 Liga I
The 2017–18 Liga I (also known as Liga 1 Betano for sponsorship reasons) was the 100th season of the Liga I, the top professional league for Romanian association football clubs. The season began on 14 July 2017 and ended on 2 June 2018, being the third to take place since the play-off/play-out format has been introduced. Defending champions Viitorul Constanța came fourth. CFR Cluj became the new champions in the last fixture of the play-off, clinching their fourth league title after finishing one point above FCSB. Juventus București and Sepsi OSK entered as the promoted teams from the 2016–17 Liga II, but only the latter managed to avoid relegation. ''Sábado'' is a Portuguese weekly news magazine published in Portugal. It is the first modern news magazine in the country. History and profile ''Sábado'' was established in 1988 and closed down in 1993. The magazine was relaunched by Cofina on 7 May 2004. It is published on a weekly basis and covers news on politics, society, culture, sports and leisure. The 2005 circulation of ''Sábado'' was 48,737 copies. The Taça da Liga (), known outside Portugal as Portuguese League Cup, is an annual football club competition organised by the Liga Portuguesa de Futebol Profissional (LPFP) for teams competing in the Primeira Liga and LigaPro, the top two tiers of Portuguese football. Unlike Portugal's other domestic cup competition, the Taça de Portugal, the winners do not qualify for European competitions. ''Observador'' is a Portuguese online newspaper started on May 19, 2014. It is the only Portuguese newspaper in Portugal with a defined political orientation (right-wing liberalism). In what was almost a unique concept at the time of launch, it is a completely digital newspaper with no printed edition, with the exception of the Anniversary and Lifestyle editions. Observador commits itself to publish and update information on a 24/7 basis. In the first month, it reported 630,000 visitors.
