Artur (footballer, Born 1998)
Artur Victor Guimarães (born 15 February 1998), simply known as Artur, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as forward for Palmeiras. Club career Palmeiras Born in Fortaleza, Ceará, Artur moved to Campo Maior, Piauí at the age of three, but returned to his hometown ten years later. He immediately joined Ceará's youth setup, and moved to Palmeiras in 2015. On 21 October 2016, he signed a new five-year contract with the latter club. Artur made his first team – and Série A – debut on 11 December 2016, coming on as a late substitute for goalscorer Alecsandro in a 2–1 away win over Vitória, as his side was already champions. For the 2017 campaign, he was loaned to Novorizontino in the Campeonato Paulista and Londrina in the Série B. In association football, a substitute is a player who is brought on to the pitch during a match in exchange for an existing player. Substitutions are generally made to replace a player who has become tired or injured, or who is performing poorly, or for tactical reasons (such as bringing a striker on in place of a defender). A player who has been substituted during a match takes no further part in the game, in games played under the standard International Football Association Board Laws of the Game. Substitutions were officially added to the Laws of the Game in 1958. Prior to this most games were played with no changes permitted at all, with occasional exceptions in cases of extreme injury or players not arriving to matches on time. 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualification (CONMEBOL)
The South American section of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification acted as qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, to be held in Qatar, for national teams which are members of the South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL). A total of 4.5 slots (4 direct slots and 1 inter-confederation play-off slot) in the final tournament were available for CONMEBOL teams. The qualification process began on 8 October 2020 and ended on 29 March 2022. Uruguay's Luis Suárez scored the first goal of the round-robin. The 2021 Copa CONMEBOL Sudamericana was the 20th edition of the CONMEBOL Sudamericana (also referred to as the ''Copa Sudamericana'', or pt, Copa Sul-Americana), South America's secondary club football tournament organized by CONMEBOL. Club Libertad is a professional association football, football club based in Asunción, Paraguay that currently plays in the Paraguayan Primera División. The 2017 Campeonato Paulista de Futebol Profissional da Primeira Divisão - Série A1 was the 116th season of São Paulo's top professional football league. Grêmio Novorizontino, commonly referred to as simply Novorizontino, is a Brazilian association football club in Novo Horizonte, São Paulo.
