Artline Engineering
ArtLine Engineering (russian: АртЛайн Инжиниринг) is a racing team and race car manufacturer based in Russia and Georgia and specialized on design and production of single seater race cars named ArtTech. The team was established in 1998 by motorsport engineer Shota Abkhazava getting its first name “Pilot F3 Engineering”. From the date of foundation, the chief designer is Sergei Piskunov, formerly Abkhazava's fellow worker in famous Russian sport car laboratory LSA MADI. In the region of Eastern Europe and post-Soviet states, ArtLine Engineering is the first and the only engineering company which produces Formula 3 chassis. Lukoil Racing
Lukoil Racing team is the leading Russian motorsport organization; its operations including management, driver training and support, engineering expertise and a quality technical environment, which enables continuous development, building, testing and race preparation. Russian competitions The team was created in 1997 to participate in the Russian Formula 3 and Tourism-1600 championships. With a European level of organisation and sponsorship from the Lukoil oil company, the team became the main force in the Russian autosport arena. Unfortunately though both series have now ended. Lukoil Racing won 5 of 6 team titles in Russian F3 and 6 of 7 team titles in Supertourism in the seasons it participated in. In 2003 Lukoil Racing created a junior team for Formula RUS. Pole Position
In a motorsports race, the pole position is usually the best and "statistically the most advantageous" starting position on the track. The pole position is usually earned by the driver with the best qualifying times in the trials before the race. The number-one qualifying driver is also referred to as the pole-sitter. Space Frame
In architecture and structural engineering, a space frame or space structure ( 3D truss) is a rigid, lightweight, truss-like structure constructed from interlocking struts in a geometric pattern. Space frames can be used to span large areas with few interior supports. Fabio Babini (born 3 November 1969) is an Italian professional racing driver. Born in Faenza, Babini competed in the FIA GT Championship from 2000 until 2004 and in one race of the American Le Mans Series each year from 2001 to 2003. From 1990 until 1992 he raced in Italian Formula Three, becoming a test driver in 1994 for the Reynard team, before moving to the Italian GT Series from 1995 until 1997. Dallara
Dallara is an Italian race car manufacturer, founded by its current President, Gian Paolo Dallara. After working for Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini and De Tomaso, in 1972 in his native village of Varano de' Melegari (Parma), Italy he created "Dallara Automobili". Dallara is also the sole manufacturer of racing cars for the IndyCar Series, Indy Lights, Formula 2, Formula 3 and Super Formula Championships. Dallara produces cars for endurance races such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the 24 Hours of Daytona. Shota Abkhazava
Shota Abkhazava (russian: Шота Абхазава, born 12 August 1971) is a Georgian-Russian racing driver, race car designer, businessman, and owner of three race tracks in Russia, Georgia and Latvia. Racing In 1993 Abkhazava graduated from the Moscow State Automobile and Road Technical University (MADI) trained as race cars engineer. While studying, he was involved into the "Astrada" and "Gardarika" single seater projects. He worked in the MADI Laboratory of Sport Cars, a famous Soviet and Russian car design bureau. In 1998 he established his first race cars design company and a team named "Pilot F3 Engineering". In 1999 the team competed in the very front in the Formula Three Championship of Russia, with Italian driver Fabio Babini at the wheel of the most up-to-date Formula 3 car "Dallara F399".
