Artistic Swimming At The 2024 Summer Olympics – Women's Duet
The women's duet event at the 2024 Summer Olympics is being held from 9 to 10 August 2024 at the Paris Aquatic Centre. Qualification For the duet, the highest-ranked NOC from each of the five continental meets that did not have a qualified team received a spot, while the remaining NOCs competed for the three remaining spots through the 2024 World Aquatics Championships. All ten NOCs eligible to compete in the team event were required to select two members to form a duet. Competition format The competition consists of the technical routine and free routine. The points accumulated from each of these routines are added together to determine the final ranking. Paris Aquatic Centre
The Paris Olympic Aquatic Centre (French: Centre aquatique olympique) is a future aquatic centre located in Saint-Denis, France that will host aquatic sporting events as part of the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. Located in the heart of the Plaine Saulnier, facing the Stade de France which it will be connected to by a footbridge spanning the A1 autoroute, it will house the diving, water polo, and artistic swimming competitions. It is being built under the management of the Métropole du Grand Paris. Jaime Czarkowski (born December 5, 2003) is a Canadian-American synchronized swimmer. She competed at the 2024 Summer Olympics for the United States, winning a silver medal in the team event. Biography Czarkowski was born on December 5, 2003, in Calgary, where she grew up. Her father, Mark, was a minor league baseball player with the Seattle Mariners.
