Artem Klimenko
Artem Anatolevich Klimenko (russian: Артём Анатольевич Клименко; born January 10, 1994) is a Russian professional basketball player for Zenit Saint Petersburg of the VTB United League. Professional career In 2011, Klimenko joined BC Avtodor Saratov. In March 2014, Klimenko announced his intentions to enter the 2014 NBA draft. In May 2014, Avtodor added a buy-out clause to his contract, and he later travelled to the United States to attend various NBA workouts. On June 26, 2014, he went undrafted in the 2014 draft. In the 2015–16 season, Klimenko won the VTB United League Young Player of the Year award. Early December 2016, Klimenko signed a contract with the Russian team UNICS Kazan until the end of the 2016-2017 season. On July 10, 2018, Klimenko signed a three-year contract with UNICS. BC Avtodor (russian: БК «Автодор» Саратов), commonly known as simply Avtodor and internationally as Avtodor Saratov, is a Russian professional basketball club based in Saratov. The center (C), or the centre, also known as the five or the pivot, is one of the five Basketball position, positions in a regulation basketball game. 2015–16 VTB United League
The 2015–16 VTB United League was the seventh complete season of the VTB United League. It was also the third season that the league functioned as the Russian domestic first tier level. CSKA Moscow was the defending champion, and the team successfully defended its title. Teams Krasnye Krylia withdrew from the league as the Samara Sports Palace was not adequate for the VTB United League (such as a minimum requirement of 3,000 seats). It planned to reapply for the 2016–17 season after renovations. In its place, Georgian Superliga side VITA Tbilisi was chosen in July 2015, the first side from that country to play in the league.
