''Art of Revenge'' is a 2003 drama thriller film written and directed by Simon Gormick. The film was released straight to video, starring Joyce Hyser and Stephan Jenkins of Third Eye Blind. Plot When Matthew Kane (Stephan Jenkins) becomes a successful architect, he leaves his wife of seven years, Lara (Joyce Hyser), to nurture his newfound taste for younger and prettier women. Bent on revenge, Lara hires a beautiful con artist named Tuesday (Nichole Hiltz) to seduce and emotionally destroy her ex-husband. When the two women become more involved with Matt as well as each other, a story of loyalty, vengeance, and betrayal begins to unfold as the situation becomes more dangerous than expected for all parties involved. Stephan Jenkins
Stephan Douglas Jenkins ( ; born September 27, 1964) is an American singer, guitarist, and the frontman of the alternative rock band Third Eye Blind. He began his musical career in 1992 as part of the short-lived rap duo Puck and Natty, alongside Detroit rapper Herman Anthony Chunn. Following the breakup of the duo, Jenkins and guitarist Kevin Cadogan formed Third Eye Blind in 1993. The band released their eponymous debut studio album in 1997, which went multi-platinum in the United States. Since then, they have released six more albums: ''Blue'' (1999), ''Out of the Vein'' (2003), ''Ursa Major'' (2009), ''Dopamine'' (2015), ''Screamer'' (2019), and ''Our Bande Apart'' (2021). Joyce Hyser
Joyce Hyser (born December 20, 1957) is an American former actress. She is best known for her role in the 1985 cult classic ''Just One of the Guys'' and for her recurring role in ''L.A. Law''. In 2012 Hyser turned her focus to writing and producing screenplays, and her last screen role was in 2014's ''The Wedding Pact''. Early life Hyser was born in New York City. She is Jewish. Hyser grew up on the east coast and attended summer camp every year as a result of a charitable organization, The Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia. Third Eye Blind is an American rock band formed in San Francisco, California, in 1993. After years of lineup changes in the early and mid-1990s, the songwriting duo of Stephan Jenkins and Kevin Cadogan signed the band's first major-label recording contract with Elektra Records in 1996. The band released their self-titled debut album in 1997, with the band largely consisting of Jenkins (vocals, rhythm guitar), Cadogan (lead guitar), Arion Salazar (bass guitar), and Brad Hargreaves (drums). Shortly after the release of the band's second album in 1999, ''Blue'', with the same line-up, Cadogan was released from the band under controversial circumstances.
