Arrow Caz!
Arrow Caz is a national Dutch commercial radio station. The station is owned by Pako Media BV and only aired even over the Internet. History Arrow Caz was on 18 April 2006 (under the name Caz!) start on the former frequencies Yorin FM. Several months SBS Broadcasting took over the station before that of RTL Nederland. Caz! has been through several name changes emerged from HitRadio Veronica. In early 2006, SBS Broadcasting the loss-making Yorin FM from RTL Nederland. SBS retained a large part of the staff and decided to change both the format and the name of the station. Former BNN director Gerard Timmer was recruited to launch the new radio station and train. In late March the new name was announced: Caz!. The name was chosen because it was felt that the station had to have a person's name with personality and character. Kink FM
Kink FM was a commercial radio channel in e Netherlands dedicated entirely to alternative music. In 1992 Dutch radio station RTL Radio started broadcasting. After this station failed to be a success, its format and name was first changed to RTL Rockradio, then to Happy RTL and back to RTL Rockradio. In 1995, the name was changed to Kink FM and the ownership split 50-50 between RTL and Veronica. In 1996, RTL gave up on the cable station and sold its remaining rights to Veronica which is still the owner. From the start Kink FM had to fight for its existence. Kink FM was available in the Netherlands by cable, in Europe by satellite and in the rest of the world through the internet. It was also on iTunes's list of radio streams and via an iPhone app. In October 2005 Kink FM celebrated its tenth anniversary. Radio 538 () is a Dutch commercial radio station that was founded in Hilversum, Netherlands in 1992. It is the second-most listened to radio station in the Netherlands. Radio 538 refers to the wavelength on which Radio Veronica used to broadcast in the 1970s. The station is owned by Talpa Network. Mostly targetting a young audience, the station plays a mix of current dance, R&B, pop, and rock hits. The music selection is mainly based on the Dutch Top 40 chart. Its breakfast and drive-time shows are talk-intensive. The station was originally only accessible through cable. In 1998, Radio 538 upgraded their frequency package, allowing for different frequencies by region. Medium wave (MW) is the part of the medium frequency (MF) radio band used mainly for AM radio broadcasting. The spectrum provides about 120 channels with more limited sound quality than FM stations on the FM broadcast band. During the daytime, reception is usually limited to more local stations, though this is dependent on the signal conditions and quality of radio receiver used. Improved signal propagation at night allows the reception of much longer distance signals (within a range of about 2,000 km or 1,200 miles). This can cause increased interference because on most channels multiple transmitters operate simultaneously worldwide. In addition, amplitude modulation (AM) is often more prone to interference by various electronic devices, especially power supplies and computers.
