Ma Barker
Kate Barker (born Arizona Donnie Clark; October 8, 1873 – January 16, 1935), better known as Ma Barker (and sometimes known as Arizona Barker and Arrie Barker), was the mother of several American criminals who ran the Barker–Karpis Gang during the "public enemy era" when the exploits of gangs of criminals in the Midwestern United States gripped the American people and press. She traveled with her sons during their criminal careers. Barker gained a reputation as a ruthless crime matriarch who controlled and organized her sons' crimes. J. Edgar Hoover described her as "the most vicious, dangerous, and resourceful criminal brain of the last decade." She has been presented as a monstrous mother in films, songs, and literature. However, those who knew her insisted that she had no criminal role and also allege that Hoover created such accusations in order to excuse the FBI for her subsequent death in a shootout in 1935. Vellinge Municipality (''Vellinge kommun'') is a municipalities of Sweden, municipality in Skåne County in southern Sweden. Its seat is located in Vellinge. The present municipality is a result of the latest local government reform in Sweden. Arrie Church
Arrie Church ( sv, Arrie kyrka) is a church in , Vellinge Municipality, in the Swedish province Skåne (Scania). A medieval church on the same spot was demolished in 1899 and the currently visible church inaugurated in 1890. It is a Neo-Gothic church, designed by architect Salomon Sörensen. Arrie Church houses a 15th-century wooden sculpture probably made in the Low Countries. History The first church in Arrie was built c. 1200 and consisted of a nave, choir and an apse. During the 14th century, a tower was added. The church underwent further changes during the 18th and 19th centuries. At the end of the 19th century it was however decided that the old church should be demolished and a new one be built, despite objections from the Royal Swedish Academy of Letters, History and Antiquities.
