Aroosa ( ur, , lit=Bride) is a 1994 Pakistani television series that aired on PTV written by Fatima Surayya Bajia based on the novel ''Aroosa'' which was written by Zubaida Khatoon and directed by Qasim Jalali. It was the debut serial of Adnan Siddiqui and Mishi Khan. Synopsis The (Shakeel) father is a barrister and shares a close bond with his younger (Neelofar) and ( Ishrat) older sisters but neglects his wife. His second marriage with a refined, educated woman creates complications as his sisters find her hard to tolerate. The father divorces (Ghazala) Anjum when Uroosa is just a baby. Adnan Siddiqui ( ur, ) (born 23 October 1969) is a Pakistani actor, producer and model who has worked in Lollywood and Hollywood and also made his debut in Bollywood with the Hindi film '' Mom'' (2017). He also has his own production house, ''Cereal Entertainment'', churning out serials like ''Aadat'' and ''Ghughi''. Syed Rizwan Wasti (1937 – January 24, 2011) was a Radio Pakistan, Karachi's radio news broadcaster and a film and television actor. Early life Rizwan Wasti was born in 1937 at Lahore but his family later moved to Karachi where he received his Bachelor of Law degree from Sindh Muslim Law College in Karachi. Fatima Surayya Bajia
Fatima Surayya Bajia (; 1 September 1930 – 10 February 2016) was an Urdu novelist, playwright and drama writer from Pakistan. She was awarded various awards at home and abroad including Japan's highest civil award in recognition of her works. Bajia remained Advisor to the Chief Minister of Sindh province in Pakistan, and was a member of the managing committee of the Arts Council of Pakistan.
