Aronba Wari
''Aronba Wari'' (English: ''Secret Story'') is a 2020 Manipuri film directed by OC Meira and produced by Rajkumari Nalini Devi, under the banner of Seuti Films. It stars Shilheiba Ningthoujam, Suraj Ngashepam, Bala Hijam and Sushmita Mangsatabam in the lead roles. The movie is based on Sarungbam Binodini Devi's novel ''Minoktugi Marumda''. It was initially slated to be released on 21 March 2020 but postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The film was premiered on 11 October 2020 at Manipur State Film Development Society (MSFDS), Imphal. ''Aronba Wari'' had its regular theatrical run at Friends Talkies, Paona Bazar in March 2021. Bala Hijam
Bala Hijam is an Indian actress, who predominantly appears in Manipuri films. Besides this, she has also acted in one Malayalam thriller road film, titled ''Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi''. She is recognized as one of the most successful actresses of Manipur. In 2022, she appeared in Hemanta Khuman's music video ''Taningle''. Sushmita Mangsatabam is an Indian actress and singer who predominantly appears in Manipuri films. She completed her schooling from North Point Higher Secondary School. She is well known for her titular role in the movie ''Thabaton''. Career She started singing at the age of thirteen, when she was in VIII standard. She is the only person in her family to take up singing and acting as profession. Before coming into films, she began shaping her career in singing. Manipuri Film
The Cinema of Manipur is the film industry based in Manipur, India. It includes not only Meitei language movies but all the films made in different languages of the different communities in Manipur. The Manipuri film industry was born when ''Matamgi Manipur'' was released on 9 April 1972. Before this, there were many attempts to make a film in the state, the most significant being ''Mainu Pemcha'' in 1948 which was left incomplete due to various problems. Maya Choudhury (born 3 March) is an Indian actress who appears in Manipuri films. Some of her famous films are ''Basantagee Nongallamdai'' trilogy, ''Momon Meenok'', ''21st Century's Kunti'', ''Nungshibee Takhellei'' and ''Tomthin Shija''.
