Aron Strobel
Aron Strobel (born 26 January 1958, in Schwäbisch Gmünd, West Germany) is best known as the lead guitarist for Münchener Freiheit, who had several big hits throughout Europe. Background Aron has been a member of the group since their debut in 1982. Although musically well complemented with his fellow band member Stefan Zauner (the two have a writing partnership that continues to this day), Aron's stage presence contrasts the rest of the band, being significantly taller and often written about on fan sites as a 'blonde giant'. Aron, alongside Zauner, contribute the majority of songs to Freiheit's albums and has co-written many of their well-known hits. Aron has contributed his own songs (sometimes with lyrics co-written with Zauner) which saw him move into an AOR sound, particularly on ''Wir sehen dieselbe Sonne'' (1992) and ''Du weißt es, Ich weiß es'' (1994). Schwäbisch Gmünd
Schwäbisch Gmünd (, until 1934: Gmünd; Swabian: ''Gmẽẽd'' or ''Gmend'') is a city in the eastern part of the German state of Baden-Württemberg. Münchener Freiheit (known sometimes simply as Freiheit) is a German pop and rock band that had released nineteen studio albums by 2016, four of which have gone gold. They are named after a square in the city of Munich in Germany, meaning "Munich freedom". It is considered part of the Neue Deutsche Welle musical movement. Deuces Wild were a one-off band formed in Munich in 1991 by Stefan Zauner (Vocals, Keyboards) and Aron Strobel (Guitar), both of the successful German pop band Münchener Freiheit. Their only album, ''Living in the Sun'' was released on Columbia Records in 1991 along with two singles: a Beatles cover, "This Boy", and the group-penned title track.
