The Party of the Democratic Revolution (PRD, es, Partido de la Revolución Democrática, ) is a social democratic political party in Mexico. The PRD originated from the Democratic Current, a political faction formed in 1986 from the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI). The PRD was formed after the contested general election in 1988, which the PRD's immediate predecessor, the National Democratic Front, believed was rigged by the PRI. Colima (), officially the Free and Sovereign State of Colima ( es, Estado Libre y Soberano de Colima), is one of the 31 states that make up the Political divisions of Mexico, 32 Federal Entities of Mexico. It shares its name with its capital and main city, Colima City, Colima. Colima is a small state located in Western Mexico on the central Pacific coast, and includes the four oceanic Revillagigedo Islands. The Congress of the State of Colima (aka Congress of Colima) is the legislative branch of the government of the State of Colima. The Congress of Colima is a unicameral legislature. The Congress consist of 25 local deputies (16 elected by the first-past-the-post system and 9 by proportional representation). Deputies are elected to serve for a three-year term. Indira Vizcaíno Silva (born 14 January 1987) is a Mexican politician from the Morena party. From 2009 to 2012 she served as Deputy of the LXI Legislature of the Mexican Congress representing Colima. The Chamber of Deputies (Spanish: ''Cámara de Diputados'', ) is the lower house of the Congress of the Union, the bicameral parliament of Mexico. The other chamber is the Senate. The structure and responsibilities of both chambers of Congress are defined in Articles 50 to 70 of the constitution. Cuauhtémoc is a municipality in the Mexican state of Colima. Its municipal seat is the city of Cuauhtémoc, Colima. The municipality of Cuauhtémoc covers a total surface area of 373.2 km².
