Arne Toonen
Arne Toonen (born 9 January 1975) is a Dutch film director. Several of his films won the Golden Film and Platinum Film awards. Career In 2010, he directed the film '' Dik Trom''. The film won both the Golden Film and Platinum Film awards. The film also won the Golden Calf for Best Production Design award at the 2011 Netherlands Film Festival. His short film ''Drop Dead'' won the Competition for the Short Film Award at the Osnabrück Independent Film Festival. In 2012, he directed the film '' Black Out''. In 2015, he directed the film '' The Little Gangster'' (''De Boskampi's''). The film won the ''Michel Award'' at the 2015 Filmfest Hamburg. In 2019, he directed the film ''Amsterdam Vice'' (''Baantjer: Het Begin'') based on the novels of A. C. Baantjer. The film won the Golden Film award two weeks later after having sold 100,000 tickets. ''Amsterdam Vice'' ( nl, Baantjer: Het Begin – English: ''Baantjer: The Beginning'') is a 2019 Dutch film and accompanying series directed by Arne Toonen. The film and eponymous television series is based on the novels of A. C. Baantjer and a prequel to the television series '' Baantjer'', based on the same novels. The Videoland version of the film was edited as a double episode (episodes 1 and 2 of the series). However, a number of scenes are missing in this version. ''RTL Boulevard'' is a daily television programme on the Dutch TV channel RTL 4. Birgit Schuurman (born 1 July 1977, in Utrecht) is a Dutch singer and actress. Biography Schuurman was born in Utrecht and raised in Bunnik as the daughter of a Dutch father and a Surinamese mother; she's the younger sister of Katja Schuurman. Schuurman started her singing career several years before her graduation. Her first attempt to break into the music business was with some unsuccessful R&B and Dance projects.
