Arnaud Ghislain
Arnaud Ghislain (born 2 December 1988) is a Belgian sprinter, who specialized in the 400 metres. He is an indoor national senior champion for his category, and also a member of the Belgian national track relay team. Ghislain was originally selected as a reserve for the men's 4 × 400 m relay at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. He was finally named to the national relay team at the start of the heats, when his teammate Kristof Beyens decided to pull out from the competition to focus on his race for the 200 metres. Jonathan Borlée (; born 22 February 1988) is a Belgian sprinter, who specializes in the 400 metres. He is a member of the Borlée family. He qualified for the finals of the 400 metres at the 2012 Summer Olympics. He was a semi-finalist at the 2008 Summer Olympics and winner at the 2009 NCAA Championships. Borlée also takes part in the Belgian 4 × 400 m relay team. The team won gold at the 2012, 2016 and 2018 European Championships, and the 2015 European Indoor Championships. The team finished 4th at the 2008 Summer Olympics and at the 2016 Summer Olympics and won silver at the 2010 World Indoor Championships and bronze at the 2010 European Championships. The men's 200 metres at the 2008 Summer Olympics took place on 18–20 August at the Beijing National Stadium. There were 63 competitors from 53 nations. Jamaican Usain Bolt set a new world record of 19.30 seconds in the final, and won by the largest margin of victory (0.66 seconds, after two disqualifications) in an Olympic 200 metres final (previously, Walter Tewksbury had a 0.6 seconds margin of victory in the first Olympic 200 m final in 1900). Kristof Beyens (born 13 July 1983 in Herentals) is a Belgian Sprint (running), sprint Track and field athletics, athlete, who specialises in the 100 metres, 100 and 200 metres. His personal best time over 200 metres is 20.44 s, achieved in Osaka during the 2007 World Championships in Athletics, World Championships. Beyens finished fourth in the 200 metres final at the 2006 European Athletics Championships in Gothenburg. In the same year, he was awarded the Gouden Spike. He also competed in the 2005 World Championships in Athletics, 2005 World Athletics Championships in the same event, reaching the second round.
