Pub Names
Pub names are used to identify and differentiate traditional drinking establishments. Many pubs are centuries old, and were named at a time when most of their customers were illiterate, but could recognise pub signs. The use of signage was not confined to drinking establishments. British pubs may be named after and depict anything from everyday (particularly agricultural) objects, to sovereigns, aristocrats and landowners (shown by their coats of arms). Other names come from historic events, livery companies, occupations, sports, and guild, craftsmen's guilds. One of the most common pub names is the Red Lion. ''Project ARMS'', simply known in Japan as ''ARMS'', is a Japanese manga series written by Kyoichi Nanatsuki and illustrated by Ryoji Minagawa. It was serialized in Shogakukan's ''Weekly Shōnen Sunday'' from April 1997 to May 2002, with its chapters collected in 22 ''tankōbon'' volumes. "Arms" is a song by American singer-songwriter Christina Perri. The song was written by Perri herself, and serves as the second single from her debut album ''Lovestrong'' (2011). The song debuted on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 at number 94. The song's accompanying music video debuted on April 28, 2011 on '' VH1''. "Arms" then made a comeback in 2017 reaching #36 on the iTunes chart passing Auli'i Cravalho's "How Far I'll Go" from the Disney movie '' Moana'' (2016). was a Japanese animation studio based in Suginami, Tokyo and active from 1996 to 2020. History The studio was formed on November 18, 1996 from a merger between Dandelion (founded in 1992) and Triple X (founded in 1993).
