Sir William Armine, 1st Baronet (11 December 1593 – 10 April 1651) was an English politician who sat in the House of Commons at various times between 1621 and 1651. Armine von Tempski (or Tempsky) (1892, Maui, Hawaiian Islands – December 2, 1943, Fresno, California) was an American writer and one of Hawaii's best known authors. She was a granddaughter of Gustavus von Tempsky. Armine Von Tempski's autobiographies and novels were based on her early life among the paniolos (cowboys) on the Haleakala cattle ranch atop the Haleakalā shield volcano. ThHaleakala Ranch which Jack London first visited in 1907, was his favourite of the Hawaiian ranches he enjoyed on several extended visits with his wife Charmian. The young Armine, then sixteen years old, asked London to read some of her stories and give his opinion. He said that they were "clumsy, incoherent tripe" but added that "every so often there's a streak of fire on your pages," which encouraged her. Armine was born at Ruckholt, the son of Sir William Airmine, 1st Baronet and his first wife, Elizabeth Hicks, daughter of Sir Michael Hicks, of Beverstone Castle, Gloucestershire, and of Ruckholt, in Low Leyton, Essex. Armine Khachatryan ( hy, Արմինե Խաչատրյան; born 16 September 1986) is an Armenian professional women's football defender. She played in the Turkish Women's First League for Hakkarigücü Spor with jersey number 4. She capped 18 times for the Armenia women's national football team. Armine Rhea Mendoza is one of the most prolific writers of contemporary Tagalog romance novels in the Philippines. Using the pseudonym Camilla, which Mendoza adopted from a female warrior in the ''Iliad'' (see the ''Aeneid'' as well), Mendoza writes for Precious Heart Romances (PHR), the Tagalog pocketbooks brand published by Precious Pages Corporation since 1992. She was a magazine writer and editor before writing popular romance novel in a full-time capacity. Biography Mendoza studied at the Ateneo de Manila University and the De La Salle University. A productive romance-genre writer, Mendoza produces around thirty manuscripts annually. Her career in romance novel writing was influenced and jump-started by an aunt, Nanay Binya.
