Armenia has participated in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest since . Armenian Public Television (ARMTV), a member organisation of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), have been responsible for the selection process of their participants since their debut. The first representative to participate for the nation at the contest was Arevik with the song "" (), which finished in second place out of 17 participating entries, achieving a score of 136 points. Since their debut, Armenia had never missed an edition of the contest, with the exception of (due to the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh war), and won twice, in with the song "Mama" () by Vladimir Arzumanyan and in with the song "" () by Maléna. The worst result to date was achieved by two representatives: L.E.V.O.N. at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018 with his song "L.E.V.O.N" and Karina Ignatyan at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2019 with her song "Colours of Your Dream", both placing ninth. Maléna (singer)
Arpine Martoyan ( hy, Արփինե Մարտոյան; born 10 January 2007), known professionally as Maléna ( hy, Մալենա), is an Armenian singer and songwriter. She  represented Armenia in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021 with the song "", and went on to win the competition, becoming the second Armenian entrant to win the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Armenia participated in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Sofia, Bulgaria. On 11 June 2015 it was confirmed that they would use internal selection. Michael Varosyan (Mika) was selected as the Armenian representative on 14 July with his song "Love", being selected on 6 October. Armenia finished 2nd with 176 points during the final.
