Pedro Armendáriz
Pedro Gregorio Armendáriz Hastings (May 9, 1912 – June 18, 1963) was a Mexican film actor who made films in both Mexico and the United States. With Dolores del Río and María Félix, he was one of the best-known Latin American movie stars of the 1940s and 1950s. Early life Armendáriz was born in Mexico City, to Pedro Armendáriz García Conde ( Mexican) and Adela Hastings (American). He was also the cousin of actress Gloria Marín. Armendáriz and his younger brother Francisco lived with their uncle Henry Hastings Senior in Laredo, Texas, after their mother died. He later studied in California, attending the California Polytechnic State University from September 1928 to May 1932. At Cal Poly, he studied mechanics and in May 1931 graduated from the academic course of the school. Alejandro Armendáriz
Alejandro Armendáriz (5 June 1923 – 7 August 2005) was an Argentine physician and politician. Life and times Early career Armendáriz was born in Saladillo, a pampas town in the Province of Buenos Aires, in 1923. His family relocated to the city of Buenos Aires in 1940, where he graduated from the Marist College of San José (a college preparatory school), the following year. Enrolling at the prestigious University of Buenos Aires, he received a medical degree in 1949 and returned to Saladillo. He married Olga Guillermina Gaddi, with whom he had two children. Practicing medicine, he became affiliated to the centrist Radical Civic Union (UCR) and was elected Vice-President of their local chapter in 1951 and city councilman in 1954. Saúl Armendáriz (born May 20, 1970) is an American-born Mexican ''luchador'', or professional wrestler, who works as an ''exótico'' for several independent promotions all over the world under the ring name Cassandro. He is a former NWA World Welterweight and UWA World Lightweight Champion. In 2009, Armendáriz signed a contract with American promotion Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), but was released before making his official debut. Luis Díez de Aux y Armendáriz (Quito, c. 1571 - Barcelona, 3 January 1627) was a Spanish churchman and politician. Biography His family was from Navarra and Aragón, but he was born in Quito, Ecuador where his father Lope Díez Aux de Armendáriz was president of the Real Audiencia de Quito. His elder brother was Lope Díez de Armendáriz, who would become 1st Marquess of Cadreita and Viceroy of New Spain. Luis moved to Spain and became a Cistercian monk in the monastery of Valparaíso de Zamora. Ramon Armendariz (born September 8, 1972) is an American former Major League Baseball umpire. Armendariz was used as an MLB reserve umpire from to , umpiring a total of 61 games. Career Armendariz graduated from the Harry Wendelstedt Professional Baseball Umpire School in 1995. From 1995 through the 1998 season, Armendariz umpired in Rookie League and Class A minor league baseball. In 1999, he was promoted to the AA Texas League. The following year he advanced to the AAA Pacific Coast League, where he umpired through 2007. He spent 2008 and 2009 in the Chinese Professional Baseball League. Outside of the regular season, Armendariz worked in the MLB Arizona Fall League from 2000 to 2004. He also umpired in the 2006 World Baseball Classic and completed three stints in Latin American winter baseball leagues.
