Armando Farro (20 December 1922 – 30 November 1982) was an Argentine footballer. He played in two matches for the Argentina national football team in 1945. He was also part of Argentina's squad for the 1945 South American Championship. Forwards (also known as attackers) are outfield positions in an association football team who play the furthest up the pitch and are therefore most responsible for scoring goals as well as assisting them. The eighteenth edition of the South American Championship was held in Santiago, Chile from 14 January to 28 February. This tournament was an ''extra'' edition, with no trophy handed to the winners, but considered official by CONMEBOL.
