Arlissa Songs
Arlissa Ruppert (; born 21 September 1992), known professionally as Arlissa, is a German-born British singer and songwriter. She has released three singles, collaborated with Nas and was listed on the BBC's Sound of 2013. Life and career Arlissa Ruppert was born in Germany, and raised in London, UK. Her mother, who served in the U.S Army in Germany, is American and her father is German. Her debut track "Hard to Love Somebody" got the attention of a publisher, who eventually passed it on to rapper Nas. After hearing the track, Nas approached Arlissa to feature on it. "Hard to Love Somebody" was chosen as Scott Mills' record of the week on BBC Radio 1 in November 2012. Arlissa was named as one of the BBC’s one to watch for 2013, when she made the longlist for the Sound of 2013. Hanau () is a town in the Main-Kinzig-Kreis, in Hesse, Germany. The Irish Singles Chart is the Republic of Ireland's music industry standard singles popularity chart issued weekly by the Irish Recorded Music Association (IRMA) and compiled on their behalf by the Official Charts Company. Chart rankings are based on sales, which are compiled through over-the-counter retail data captured electronically each day from retailers' EPOS systems. All major record shops, digital retailers and streaming services contribute to the chart, accounting for over 95% of the market. A new chart is compiled and officially released to the public by the Irish Recorded Music Association on Friday at noon. The Official Charts (legal name: The Official UK Charts Company Limited) is a British inter-professional organization that compiles various "official" record charts in the United Kingdom, Ireland and France. Angie Thomas (born September 20, 1988) is an American young adult author, best known for writing ''The Hate U Give'' (2017). Her second young adult novel, '' On the Come Up'', was released on February 25, 2019. Early life Angie Thomas was born on September 20, 1988, in Jackson, Mississippi where she was raised. Thomas was subjected to multiple instances of gun violence at a young age. She grew up near the home of assassinated civil rights activist Medgar Evers, stating that her mother heard the gunshot that killed him. When she was six years old, Thomas witnessed a shootout.
